Theresa Hancock is the Director of My HealtheVet in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Ms. Hancock is a certified Healthcare Executive. Her background is in Healthcare Administration from Johns Hopkins University. Ms. Hancock’s experience includes program management and personal health records, health communication, and strategic planning.

Prior to taking on her current role in November 2005, Ms. Hancock served as the lead senior consultant for the Department of Defense, distinguished commercial organizations (e.g., Wake Forest, Stanford, University of Southern California) and was employed full time as the Director of Johns Hopkins Hospital Outpatient Care Center (35 clinics) and the National Institute on Drug and Alcohol Abuse, focusing on the use of technology and clinical administration to improve and expand the delivery of health care services. Ms. Hancock is a member of various major executive committees.
